Ok, my district has blocked the pictures that I used all the time on Google images. Now I use www.clipart.com . It is a bit expensive but... I need pictures to explain vocabulary. Plus when you are Co-Teaching out in the mainstream you can take a laptop with you and pull up concepts that are abstract to your students. Posted by Kay Gonzales at kathryn.gonzales@cfisd.net

Visual Dictionary:  This is an online visual dictionary that uses images to explain objects.  You can search by word or by picture.  You can also search by topic or by lexicon. Once you find what you are looking for you can see a detailed version that labels all the important parts of the object.  There are options to view the object as clipart, as a photo, or as an animation.  You can also see the labels in several different languages.  This site is free.
